Most of garbage in Cairo is collected by an unofficial labor force which has been doing it for about 100 years. The "Zabbaleen," or "Trash People". They collect, sort, sell, recycle, and reuse the vast majority of Cairo's refuse.
They bring garbage to the Medina Zabbaleen ("Trash City") where they put it into their yards or homes for sorting.
And that's the way they live…

These people are doing a great service by recycling everything that they can. They also seem to be making a fairly good penny for their efforts. It certainly wouldn't be a pleasant job. Good for them.

i see, this is what the christian people of egypt - the copts, are redused to doing.
muslems like muslems only, or rather hate all others.
here the copts are tolerated - as garbage dealers. it is hard for them to get jobs.
yes there are christians in egypt - you are not shown them, for this is how they live.

i heard hamas in gaza are exuming christian palestinians from graves - because it "contaminates the ground"
yes there are christian arabs in israel and in gaza too... maybe in gaza not for long. dont say you didnt know...

while the poorest Christians do deal with the garbage. The richest in Egypt are Christians as well. Muslims don't hate Christians. Some people, whether they are Christian or Muslim or Jewish or whatever, dislike others without knowing them.
