Jan Vormann started an unusual project in Berlin, he began to dispatch the holes left after the World War II with plastic construction pieces. Then began the most interesting, a lot of elderly people and children joined him and began to do the same. Very touching, well done!
Pathetic, Warsaw was destroyed by Nazis 3 year s ago
It was almost flat after the World War II - try to dispatch such hole with plastic construction pieces. little poor German boy - when I see these pictures and these "holes" in walls, my God - it is terryfying, Poor Berlin. SICK
It seems none of you appreciate the metaphor/meaning behind this project, to 'patch' things up with 'lego'. I say "Impressive & Touching" and the respect that goes behind this project where others join in. I'd do the same if I lived in Berlin.
I would advise all thease people to go to Poland for example and patch it up as well as people there cannot afford to do it themselfs (Warsaw was destroyed in 85%)or London (ten thousands bombs dropped only in septemeber 1940). Good luck!
Hah, if some of you are going to start a who destroyed more cities argument, we'll be here forever discussing. Berlin, Warsaw, Stalingrad, Dresden? Honestly, could any of these cities "afford" it? Communism anyone? Just acknowledge what these guys are doing as "art" (whether you think it's good or not) and stop complaining, this has nothing to do with politics.
