This is the result of years of b rutal sanctions which would equal a humanitarian crisis if it weren't for their remarkable health care system.

I hope Obama follows through with lifting those sanctions, as he has mentioned. It's shameful.

Do you realize that just because the US has an embargo w/ Cuba that does not mean Cuba can't trade with other countries.
Why do you think you can buy Cuban cigars in Canada? Because there is no embargo from Canada to Cuba.
If you think that trade with the US is a requirement to success, then you obviously have a high opinion of the US.
