They decorate the graves with favourite things of the deceased or do gravestone in the form of these things etc.

Some are crazy as hell.. Others are fitting.
The one with the dinosaur on it was a kids, & I'm guessing he liked dinosaurs.
The bear shaped one was another kids.
The WW2 one is because he was a Vet.

My best friend died when he was 14 & his tombstone has a racing flag on it.. And at his feet is a plaque that says "We almost made it" & has "Son" & "Father" written on it.. His father will be buried at the opposite side.

You should also see the "Merry Cemetery" in my country. It's not a big thing but it's unique in its way.

My sister passed away when she was 19 and my parents had her stone made as a bench, with her name my parents who will be buried there. my mom designed it and the writing is all on the leg of the bench, its beautiful and original the way my sister was
