This is a textile strap created by Chilean architect Alejandro Aravena.
It is called Chairless. It helps to stabilize your body while sitting and relieve tension.
In other words, a good tool for lazy people. But I must admit that I’d like to have one ;)

Keeley, wouldn't it make more sense just to use your own core strength to support your spine. It seems really silly.

Plus, if you're with a friend you can just sit back to back. Which is also good for sniper alertness.
