The city of Dubai in United Arab Emirates is known for its obsession with grandiose, extravagant and expensive things. It will never cease to astonish you. But this time it is the capital of UAE, Abu Dhabi, that captured our attention with one very intrersting ATM machine...

The Gold to Go ATM machine was invented by Thomas Geisler and dispenses gold coins and gold bars. The gold makes a nice souvenir for guests. Currently, it only accepts local currency. However, a modification that will allow the machine to take credit cards is in the works. The ATM machine is also equipped with a computer system that constantly tracks the current gold price in world markets. Gold prices are changed every 10 minutes.
