It’s always difficult to fight against such “enemies” as sexually transmitted diseases and other bad habits that rule in modern society. It was even more difficult to battle against such diseases in the ‘30s and ‘40s in America. At wartime this propaganda was targeted at soldiers. And we thank Bruce LeRoy for sending us a link to great wartime vintage STD Propaganda posters that are colorful and very charismatic.

The golden age of propaganda?

Some of these are downright hilarious. I can imagine writing the copy for these ads and just laughing like a loon.

The art direction on some of these are really interesting.
