The one and only reason Hitler is portrayed as 'the most evil man in history' is becouse he identified the Jews as the enemy. His regime also murdered an equal number of gipseys but no one is making a big fuss about it (not that it should). Stalin for example killed 25 million russians in the gulags and again that's no biggie. But beoouse Hitler messed with 'the chosen people', the same people that control the mass-media, among many other things, Hitler is depicted as the ultimate boogie man for the TV brain-washed sheeps. Only when you (if ever) will study something other than the main stream history you might understand the (very simple) logic of this.

Those kids are Hitlers Children aka scouts, who later will be trained to be SS(Schutzstaffel). They start from age 10 as scouts, then another group when they are teens(forgot the name) after that they will be choosed to be SS, or Wehrmacht the soldiers or some other military group.
Another thing was Hitler was a soldier in World War 1 and also his friends/collegues were Ex-henchmen or thugs (particularly his body guards) and his point of view of world domination was based on his experience , which is war and use of force.

I think he liked anyone who was ARYAN enough as long they agreed with him and did not challenge him in any way. What I find so disturbing in these pictures is that people let their children be anywhere near him!

Actually, the Holocaust itself wasn't Hitler's idea--he just supported it. Heinrich Himmler, the leader of the SS, was told by Hitler to get rid of the Jews. Hitler also said that he didn't care how, and he wouldn't ask any questions.

I'm definitely not excusing Hitler here, but US history books have completely disregarded Himmler's existence and his role in the Third Reich.

I love it when people bring up the Japanese internment camps and call them concentration camps. The concentration camps were places where political dissidents, gypsies, Jews, and anyone else the Nazis deemed undesirable were sent to be worked to death, starved to death, or if to weak or a child, simply put to death.....that is why they were also called death camps.

The internments were wrong.....but they were not death camps. Don't be ignorant.

I have a couple real original photos of hitler. Collection value of course. Bunch of propaganda pictures and such. course he always had a squad of photographers around him.

He was a diabolically evil man, however he never would have gotten as far as he did if not for his brilliant ability to manipulate people and his immense charisma. He was very persuasive, very charming, and he knew that the way to gain total control over Germany was through children. One of his most famous quotes was something to the effect of "Your children already belong to us."

Was he charming, charismatic, clever, perhaps even personally likable in many ways? Sure, but so were most psychopathic serial killers. His personal charm doesn't change how utterly depraved and evil he was.

These photos are obviously a portrayal of an unseen side of Hitler's personality.
I think in a sense they also serve to show that he was deluded enough to genuinely believe that what he was doing was for good.
I don't think of him so much as evil but as mentally unwell, however it's obvious that he must have been charming enough to convince a nation that his ideals were just and to convince so many to help put his plans in motion.

These pictures of Hitler are interesting. We have been conditioned from childhood to see only evil when we look at this man. And certainly there have been few men more evil in the history of the world. It is interesting to see these pictures that show us that even the most horrible people have moments of kindness and decency. There is no absolute evil. For all the horrible things that were done by Hitler and in his name he never considered himself evil. That is always one thing that I find interesting. No one considers himself evil. He thought that what he was doing was the best thing for these children... of course he was wrong. He was horribly misguided and did terrible things because of it. But he was trying to do what he thought was right. Imagine what he could have done if he had been brought up with different beliefs. What he could have become if he had not believed that jews were evil and that people who were not like him should be destroyed. Things could have been so different if the man that we can see in these photographs had lived his life differently.
