Sometimes I think it's less about the cut and fabric and more about how outlandish you can be on the runway without being called a hack.

High fashion has mostly been about how crazy can you get. This has nothing to do with design of elegant or sensible clothes. Maybe they're going for the shock value? They look butt-ugly.
