I read somewhere that kids cry on their first haircut, simply because it's called a hair 'cut'. Most kids have had little cuts, bumps and bruises and they remember it's painful, so to go and get something on them cut intentionally scares them...whether that's the case or not, it makes for some hilarious pictures :)
