@vodoo I like how you justify same sex marriages because animals do it too. Animals also crap where they eat, like their own private parts, and pee into their on mouths if they want to. Does that mean its all right for us to do all those things too because its nature and the rest of society should support us doing all those things? I'm pretty sure its more natural for their to be 2 different sexes that are intended to be married so they can reproduce. All of nature does it, there are different sex plants, how many times do you see one male plant get the hots for another male plant and just say screw you to reproducing?

Forrest and vodoo, you're right that we are animals. And that homosexuality is common amongst animals. Whether it's right or wrong I cannot say. As our main purpose is to reproduce, I would say that homosexuals brains are wired wrong. I fully believe that people are born gay. To me it's a defect like cleft palate or nearsightedness. Some people (like I) need glasses, some need insulin injections, some are gay.
Maybe there is some kind of edge for being gay, because it's so common. It looks like Darwin's law won't weed out "gay gene" if there's one. Maybe it's impossible to be weeded out. Or maybe there wasn't any need to weed it out. For fun, let's think about cavemen. They lived in tribes. Chieftain finds out that one of them is gay. His options are to exile him because he's not strengthening the tribe by mating with women or to keep him as a workforce and chieftain gets more pussy yay! ..ok now I let my imagination loose...
But in all semiseriousness it really puzzles me that gays have survived this far. In yesterdays primitive world they must have been hard pressed to prove their worth but nowadays when sex and survival isn't everything (even though it permeates subtly everything) there's more tolerance towards different people.
In the future, when the human cloning is legaliced and we know how to raise humans in jars, gays will raise their children that way and we heterosexuals will soon have to kneel (or maybe bend over) before our homosexual overlords...yeah, I got bored of writing this wall of text. I guess my opinion towards gays at the moment is that they are kinda "useless" if thinking of most basic(sex) way, but like Douglas Adams wrote, mostly harmless.
