Actaullay, I'm the most extreme animal fan! (paws down!) and if she loved animals so much she would have kept the croc in the wild and not have taken it from its habitat. Unless of course she works as a conservationist and rescued it.

I'm an animal rights advocate, and have been pretty much all my life. I believe people should keep wild animals in the wild or at a sanctuary, not as a house pet. It is unfair to the animal. If you love it , let it go.

This woman is insane. A reptile this size can hardly be considered a pet and if you want to keep it as a pet at least keep it in an enclosure that is based on the animal's needs. This poor thing doesn't even have a proper heatsource, pool or anything.
I hope someone contacted an animal rescue service to save both the cat and the caiman (sp?).

It's not a crocodile, it's a cayman. My mom had a cayman as a little girl growing up. It's quite common in areas like Florida, where they just wander into your home and stay :)
