Pie Eyes
Alan Stuart inspects a pie as judging takes place in the World Scotch Pie Championship in Dunfermline, Scotland. Eighty piemakers entered the competition, which is in its 12th year. The contest added three categories: sausage rolls, bridies and savory products. There were 400 entries in all.

This wild turban sporting the colors of the Indian flag was worn by Baba Ramdas and would make Dr. Seuss proud. He wore the turban for the annual cattle fair in Pushkar, India.
