These are photos of the 8.9 earthquake that shook the northeast coast of Japan today. The earthquake was followed by a tsunami and aftershocks like fires and a landslide. Some parts of Honshu were under water when a wave swept ashore.

Completely insane!! These photos and the video are more spectacular than most of the 2004 tsunami footages. A a educated geologist, I find this most interesting. This is very tragic of course, but these images and videos will serve as education and as a warning for generations to come, It may save some lives in the future.

Never underestimate the power of large crowds, of stupid people.

Just because Izismile is an image board dedicated to entertaining posts does not mean that it is limited to posting images that are restricted to the humorous category.

The tsunami that struck Japan and other regions in the Pacific is world wide news and Izismile generally addresses or at least provides posts on events such as this, WHETHER OR NOT THEY ARE FUNNY.

If you have a problem with it, don't comment. They run the site not you, now take the sticks out of your asses.
