Do you see its eyes looking directly at you? Well, these are not the eyes…

 

This 14-day smiling tadpole was caught on camera thanks to a powerful electron microscope by photographer David Spears. But what is the most interesting about this picture is the eyes that you see on the tadpole are actually its nostrils, “…his eyes are much further back on his head.'
