Exclusive: First Photos from Inside Fukushima Dai-Ichi Power Plant (9 pics)

Now known world wide as the Fukushima Fifty, these pictures show this group of plant managers working feverishly to stop and contain the overheating reactors from further expelling harmful radiation. Astonishingly, many of these men have already said they know they might not survive the high levels of radiation they have been exposed to.

There have been 522 atmospheric nuclear test, yet the press acts like this is the worst nuclear event ever.

HEROES!

The nuclear power plant workers known as the 'Fukushima Fifty' have been isolated from their families to prevent news of difficult conditions leaking out, it was claimed.

#8 is not a picture of Fukushima Dai Ichi. It is a military crew scrubbing the flight deck of an aircraft carrier.

@Freddy: Yes, you´re smart alec. This is the flight deck of the USS Ronald Reagan cleaned by their crew cause the ship was on the way to Japan for help as it passed an area in front of the coast which was contaminated with radioactive particles from Fukushima

Heroes? There is no such thing. They are just brainwashed by their culture and now they willingly throw away their life and happiness. I hope that they will survive and live normally, but I seriously doubt that. People will forget their sacrifice eventually, but they will keep on suffering. What a waste of life.
