These two men went fishing in the St. John’s River when they were accosted by this huge alligator. At first they tried unsuccessfully to harpoon it. Eventually, they managed to shoot the 400 Kg beast between the eyes and stab it with two harpoons.

Bullshit. Alligators do not get that large here in Florida if they are the sort to bother people. These guys poached it and claimed it attacked them. There are so many people fishing there that the animal would have attacked someone and been killed a long time ago.
