Rather could it be that Joe Jusko is an accomplished and highly regarded fantasy artist of a newer generation who was inspired by the great Frank Frazetta and other fantasy artists from an earlier generation? You don't need to put one down to raise another. Artists inevitably always follow in the footsteps of others from the past.
