An unlucky driver unfortunately had his car’s antenna hit by lightening but managed to escape without any injuries.

Ahhh... Lightning sent lightning through the cars tire and left a hole in the pavement. The antenna would have been obliterated by the strike.

FYI, tire material resistance is way to much than human body!
he shall thank the god than he was not shocked.

Shouldn't the lightning charge stay "in" the vehicle (faraday's cage and all), and not shoot through the tire in to the street? I always thought the car was the safest place while thunderstorms are happening.

the tires were probably wet with dirty conductive water... and the tires probably had steelbelts in the tread rubber...shaza, kaaaboom
