This tortoise damaged its left front leg so badly that the veterinarians had to amputate it. Then they came up with a prosthetic leg that was nothing short of genius.

it's still lost a lot of maneuverability / climbality, but i guess that's all that can be done.

and i didn't realise that some tortoises had armor on their legs. quite interesting and dinosaur-like...
