You spend 10-20 years of your life doing sports, rigorous training every day, workouts, fitness, diets etc, then get time off and see what you do with your time.
I for one have no problem with former pro athletes getting fat, they earned their retirement :D

If you've been fit all your life, that's not a reason to get fat, this is supposed to be a lifestyle, and not something you stop one day.
However i googled it and he does have this illness, sucks.
This sickness however isn't something all athletes suffers from after quiting, just look at Steve Austin, many wrestlers, and supposedly a lot of other athletes you've never heard about lol
