Well said. I agree with you completly. Now the retailers are trying to do "Black Friday" in Canada! It will never work here though. Canadians tend to hold onto their money a little tighter and don't always "JUMP" when the man says to. Thousands close to the border go down to the US for black friday but hundreds of thousands that are just as close, just stay home.

The people that camp out for black Friday (and similar) sales either do not value their time or do not know how to calculate it.
Waiting 10 hours to save $50.00? That's $5.00 an hour, you idiots. Even the worst fast food job pays more than that and you don't have to sleep on a piss cover sidewalk.

This is just... Bullshit. I work in retail - for the Mart of Wals. Yeah, you know the one. It's a small town where I am and even then, people were in the store tearing down displays before they were even ready to be sold. (Sales began at 10pm Thursday but people were in at 8pm since it's a 24 hour store.)

A woman got trampled over cell phones and had to go to the hospital. Still others were fighting over X-Box games. So many people had to be thrown out of the store for shoplifting, fighting, cutting in line and tearing up the displays. There's no fucking point.

And let's not forget the bitch in California who PEPPER SPRAYED people just to get ahead of them to get her shit. I also met a woman who's daughter worked in another store where someone got SHOT.

It's not worth it. Sales aren't worth people's health or life.

Insane, just insane.
