This classy Mercedes turned into a “blingmobile” is now sold for £7 million ($10.9 million). It is owned by Swiss businessman Ueli Anliker who apparently has more money than taste.

The supercar is named “Anliker McLaren SLR 999 Red Gold Dream”. It has 24-carat gold on the wheels and headlights. The garish body has 25 layers of red paint with 5 kg of gold dust worked into it. And the car's supercharged 5.4-liter engine has had power boosted from 640 bhp to 999 bhp - giving it a top speed of more than 210 mph (340 km/h). A team of 35 workers spent a total of 30,000 man hours and more than £3.5 million ($5.5 million) working on this vehicle.
