This old school cooking technique is easy to use.
 

Take a log…

Saw it in several segments.

Fill the middle with ignition, paper and wood chips.

Leave out a wick. Now ignite it.


DamnHot - it's really hot there, Damn!

Its called "jätkänkynttilä", man´s candle. I've never heard that it could cook, it's just a decoration (outdoors, like a big candle).

My family's gbeigst challenge is just getting together. I have a large family and we are spread out all over the world. I am one of 7 siblings and there are children involved (one with special needs). The other issue with the holidays is that who will hold the festivities at what location and if it is a gathering who will bring what.
