We used to have to glue two bic lighters together at the house so it was long enough that it would stick up above peoples shirt pocket when they inadvertently tried to take it with them.

I can see this as being useful to people that travel a lot and really, really, really like travel-size toothpaste tubes. Probably should have mentioned that in the description. Otherwise, I don't think anyone really needs this.
