Chris Arnade created a photo project named "Faces of Addiction." He walks South Bronx, talks to local drug addicts and makes their close-up portraits. btw: we don't spend trillions of $ to "bomb and kill innocent women and children", and we DO spend $millions to help rehabilitate feed clothe & shelter our own American born souls, and a lot of illegal aliens, too!
That said, humans ARE sad and pathetic. ...AND noble in reason, infinite in faculties, in form and moving how express and admirable, in action how like an angel, in apprehension how like a god!
I would not wish drug addiction/alcoholism on my worst enemy.
