Underwater photographers managed to picture 15 m long (50 ft.) Bryde’s whales right in the middle of their daily dinner.
The whales blindsided the shoal of sardines and started to swallow them. The speed of the animals was amazing and somewhat unnerving.
The photographers were extremely close to the whales while they clamped their jaws around the fish.
Enthralled by the pursuit, one of the whales narrowly missed the photographer and made a sudden turn to avoid the collision.
