Road Crossing Trouble for Wild Lioness (9 pics)

Tourists were driving through Etosha National Park in Namibia when they saw a lioness that came to cross the road. The cars stopped and switched off the engines, but the large feline was not alone...

Three little cubs came out of the grass and followed their mother. That must be the first time in their lives they saw the cars, so two of them moved closer to inspect the unknown things. Their mother grew anxious and carried one of the cubs to the other side of the road.

At the same time, the second cub came very close to one of the trucks. Moreover, a jackal appeared out of nowhere and started to show interest in the third cub. The lioness was torn between fighting off the jackal, grabbing the cub by the vehicles and consoling the one left on the opposite side of the road.

People in the cars understood that their presence was making things worse, so they finally moved off in order not to disturb the animal and give her and her kids the opportunity to cross the road safely.
