Fire Fighters to the Rescue! (7 pics)

While on a walk with his owners, this poor pooch slipped into a badger burrow and was unable to get out. The owners tried to dig him out themselves but underestimated the depth of the hole. They eventually called in emergency services and the fire fighters spent 6 hours and had to dig a 3 meters hole in order to free the dog.

We've got one dog in our area that has been rescued out of the same culvert three times in the past two years - twice having chased a skunk into the culvert!
