Needed more light so he could close the aperture and bring the chair and picture into focus rather than having a narrow depth of field.

He could also have done with moving everything further from the far wall so the big cup's shadow doesn't spoil the effect. The picture could have done with being lined up properly, too.

Good example of what you can do, though.
