Michael Jackson Created These Cool Anti-Gravity Shoes (5 pics + 1 video)

In 1993, Michael Jackson and two other co-inventors designed these shoes that use a special heel slot that allows the foot to catch on a hitch on the stage. The wearer simply needs to slide the foot forward over the hitch and voila that person can now actually lean forward beyond their natural centre of gravity without falling over.

He was a great innovator and a very talented tortured soul. More to be pitied than scolded.

that's a really cool trick and yes, he really was. i was never a huge fan of his music, but his personal style of singing / dancing was quite unique and impressive.

it's stupid to paint people with a single brush because we're all pretty complex and even contradictory. just our nature.

He's a legend to some people, but some don't really care.

Make one mistake and you're totally fucked, for life.

That's how the world goes.
Deal with it!

What a great invention. I can think up literally hundreds of practical uses for these in everyday life.

Let me fix that for ya - "In 1993, Michael Jackson paid two inventors to design these shoes".

Evidence? #3 #4 #5 If he truly "co-invented" them, surely he would know their operating characteristics?

lolmaster5000, many such arrangements are partnerships between the idea person with little technical or engineering know-how and the nuts-and-bolt designers who would not have thought of the idea on their own. each needs the other.

not everyone can be a nikola tesla, and jackson did have a few side-projects and interests which tended to absorb his time.
