What makes you think that, Ree? Because the dog is already an adult?

Sweet pics. The boy will most likely be an animal lover when he grows up.

Yep, that dog is already an adult and large breeds usually only live 11 - 14 years. That kid is so close to that dog, he will be traumatized when it dies. It's really sad, but it's fact. I have nothing to add except that I went through that when I was about 11 and I still remember that dog vividly.

My Labrador loved my son at that age too.. Toddlers are like walking vending machines for dogs.
