Whoever wrote "whomever wrote this..." needs to learn the difference between the subjective and objective uses of "who" and "whom."

#24: It's not Morse Code, it's Land-Line Telegraphy, a precursor to Morse Code. Also, please check your spelling.

Justin Bieber didn't hit Mickey it was goofy and he just punch him

Woody and Jessie they only did that once. Only once for a cast member

The cats in Disneyland are let out at night and taking in early morning

Costume character have never been discouraged to give anyone a high five

there isn't a Disney jail

No real ammunition has been used at the arcades

The finger point is right but there excuse is to not offend people but it was because Walt pointed like that in is pictures which had photoshopped out his cigar

No real skull on the head board

Tinker bell flying is never a man anymore it use to be every now and then but with technology and zoom they can't do it anymore

Treasured guest isn't a thing

Costume characters never shared underwear

Universal doesn't have hidden Mickeys. Those were hats floating

The utilidors(tunnels) aren't only for costume characters. They are for anyone that has to get to a curtain land because it doesn't go with the show. It does help the character tho and at Epcot there's a small one

Tinkerbell is still sometimes a man at Disneyworld; my friend who works there told me.

the skull is real as are some other skeletons, some of them bought from schools so they could look as real as possible and the skull on the headboard is a woman actress that donated her self to the park to continue acting even in death.

Universal does have hints to Disney in the Jurassic Park ride I have seen them myself. It is as if the Disney guests got eaten by the Dino's.

Actually they used real bb guns when my dad was younger so that could be counted as "real ammunition" in this article, but there are a lot of inconsistencies with the rest of these facts.

Real air powered bb guns were loaded 25 shots to a tube, and the tube poured into the gun when a guest purchased a try. Never at the Crystal Arcade nor Penny Arcade - the two s"live ammo" shooting galleries that would alternate closure to repaint the metal drop targets were located in Adventureland and Frontierland until the Frontierland "Shootin' Exposition" was converted to operate by light and the Adventureland was converted to Adventureland Outpost shop, now Indiana Jones Outpost.

The brass "golden spike" survey marker monument is located just inside Sleeping Beauty Castle and look for a more recent "Walt's Footprint" nearby. It has never been the absolute center of Disneyland being too far NorthWest for that, but it is the figurative origin for survey purposes. The physical center of the guest area has changed many times, such as with the addition of Toontown.

write about something you know very little about
it insults your readers and makes you look foolish!

I like how a lot of you are ridiculing this article for spelling errors, and inaccuracies when none of you had the common sense to look at the watermark on all of these images.

"slightlywarped.com"

They didn't even write the article themselves. Yes. Shame on them. But if you're gonna bitch, bitch at the right people, or about the correct issue at least.

Here you go: http://slightlywarped.com/thoughtvomit/50_fun_facts_disney_parks.htm

Regardless, I'm sure some of these show some truth and are interesting nonetheless. Enjoy life a little guys.

To everyone saying there are misspelled words, I didnt see a single misspelling. Im a grammar nazi. I notice these things. And the vast majority of these things are indeed true. Research before you post your opinion. It helps to make it look like you know about that which youre speaking.

Really? You didn't notice a SINGLE misspelled word? Not a single one? Take another look. One that comes to mind is in the fourth picture from the bottom. "There are vents on Main Street that pipe artifical vanilla scents..." Artifical...

You're a grammar nazi, really? Okay, then, how about these mistakes in your post: 1. "Im a grammar nazi." It should read "I'm a grammar Nazi." 2. Were you never taught to not start sentences with coordinating conjunctions and, but, or, for, nor, yet, and so? That was how I was taught in College, but the standards seem to change every year. 3. "It helps to make it look like you know about that which youre speaking." This should read "It helps to make it look like you know about that which you're speaking." You are forgetting the apostrophe in some of your words.

Actually Nixon's "I'm not a crook" speech took place at the Contemporary Hotel at Disney World, not at Disneyland.

I am a Disney cast member who facilitates backstage tours throughout the parks and I will tell you that only about half of this information is correct, the other half is incorrect, made-up rumors. Thank you to the people who have posted corrections to some of these.

No we never shared underwear, no no no no, never. We shared shorts and t-shirts issued by Disney that were washed everytime they were turned in, but never underwear.

Actually, at Disney World anyway, they don't use code v anymore because people began to catch on. Instead they say protein spill.

I'm an attractions cast member at Pirates of the Caribbean at WDW. The Johnny Depp thing is completely false. It would be WAY too dangerous for someone to just "hang out" in the ride. He's also never dressed as Captain Jack Sparrow in any of the shows, meet and greets, or parades. All just rumours.

Skylar.Beth - For the Johnny Depp thing, they would be referring to Disneyland, not Disney World, so it could be true. The things that celebrities are allowed to do that the general public is not, extends to Disney as well.
