This 400 lbs (181 kg) black bear was wandering around a residential area in Alligator Point, Florida when wildlife authorities were called in to help capture him and return him to the Osceola National Forest. They darted him with tranquilizers but the bear wandered into the Gulf and started to drown. Biologist, Adam Warwick was nearby and waded into the water to rescue the bear.

Incredibly, Adam suffered only one scratch from the bear during the ordeal.

The team was able to use a tractor to transport the groggy bear back to his home in Osceola National Forest.
