5-year-old William Evertz Jr. from New Jersey wanted to make his random act of kindness to the police officers of the Winslow Township Police Department. He wanted to do something great as a thank you for keeping him and everybody in his community safe 24/7.
So, little William came up with an idea and used his allowance money he was saving for 5 months to do it.
After his visit to the local police station, officers shared this incredible story on Facebook. Here is what they wrote:
The policemen were impressed by William's act of kindness. They gave him and his mother a tour at their office and made him an “honorary officer.” They also gifted him a special shirt and badges and even took him for a ride home in a police car with the lights and the siren on.
The cops being served their much needed lunches after a whole 5 months of allowance was spent for their health and well-being.
As you can imagine, the story went nuclear on social media and people everywhere have been commending the boy & his parents for his wonderful behavior.
