One day, Lal Bihari went to apply for a loan but needed to get a proof of identity. But, upon getting it, the government advised him that he was officially dead. His uncle had him declared dead in order to obtain land. From 1975 to 1994, Lal Bihari fought the Indian government to be legally considered alive and has been an activist for other cases like his own.
Etibar Elchiyev
In a very bizarre case, Etibar Elchiyev is a kickboxing trainer who can attach spoons to his chest and back without any adhesive. He claims to have magnetic powers. He’s achieved the Guinness Book of World Records for attaching 53 spoons total to his body.
Wolf Messing
Born in Poland in 1874, Wolf Messing claimed to be a psychic and a telepath. When he got a job at the circus, he blew his audiences away and even got the attention of Sigmund Freud and Albert Einstein. Messing also told a prophecy about Hitler that severely angered him; Messing had to go into hiding in Russia because of it. There, he caught the attention of Stalin, who greatly feared Messing’s abilities. He remained a mysterious and bizarre figure up until his death.

Thai Ngoc, a Vietnamese farmer, claims to have not slept in over 40 years. After he came down with a fever, he says he couldn’t get to sleep even after he tried medications and remedies. Even though he doesn’t sleep, he, now in his sixties, still says it hasn’t affected him, and he remains perfectly healthy.

Michel Lotito had quite the appetite but not for what you might expect. As a young man, he suffered from Pica, a disorder where you’re compelled to eat non-food items. He discovered he could pretty much eat anything and started eating bits of metal. It’s estimated that over his lifetime, he had eaten 9 tons of metal.

Sanju Bhagat once looked like he was 9-months pregnant. Though doctors thought he had a massive tumor, it was discovered he had been carrying around his twin his whole life. It’s a rare condition called fetus in fetu. They ended up removing the fetus and he made a full recovery.

Christopher Knight, also called the North Pond Hermit, up and left his home in Massachusetts without warning and drove up to Maine. He stopped when his car ran out of gas and walked out into the wilderness. At that point, he lived in total isolation for 27 years in rural Maine and survived by stealing from nearby houses. When people noticed things missing, he became a bit of a legend until he was finally caught.
Adam Rainer
Adam Rainer had quite a unique and bizarre condition where he was both a dwarf and a giant in his lifetime. Throughout his childhood, he was considered a small and weak dwarf; he was even denied entrance to the military when he tried to enlist. However, once he turned 21, his body rapidly started to grow. In a decade, he went from 4’10” (1.2 meters, 25.4 cm) to 7’1″ (2.1 meters, 2.54 cm). He suffered from acromegaly, a disease where there’s a tumor on the pituitary gland.
David Allen Bawden
David Allen Bawden, who also calls himself Pope Micheal, believes he’s the rightful Pope. He hasn’t been to a mass since 1989 and only has 100 followers. Still, he believes whole-heartedly that he’s the true Pope.

Peter Glazebrook is kind of obsessed with growing large produce. He’s grown large onions, beetroot, and parsnip. He recently grew a 60lb (27.2 kg) cauliflower that’s 6 feet (1.8 meters) wide. He uses his greenhouse and calcium nitrate to help his produce grow so large.
Xiaolian
A man merely known as Xiaolian got into a horrific accident which destroyed his nose. To reconstruct his nose, his doctor grew one on the man’s forehead. So for a while, Xiaolian had a nose on his forehead.

If you’re allergic, bee stings can be incredibly dangerous. But, that didn’t seem to bother She Ping, a beekeeper who covered his entire body with 460,000 bees.
