It is called the Ripsaw, a developmental unmanned light tank built by the Howe brothers in 2000 as a small family project. It is able to accelerate to 60 mph (100 km/h) in about 4 seconds. The “Sham II” is the latest armoured tank built by the Syrian rebels in their fight against the brutal regime of President Bashar al-Assad. It took a month to design and assemble the machine, which has five cameras and a 7.62mm machine gun attached to its frame. The machine gun is controlled by control stick from a Sony PS3 games console from inside and although the 2.5 cm thick metal walls cannot withstand a grenade or tank fire, they can reportedly resist up to 23 mm cannon fire. The tank cost approximately $10 000 to build.
The “Mercedes-Benz Ener-G-Force” is a concept car and is designed to be a kitted-up, Highway patrol vehicle for 2025. It is also the first ever Mercedes-Benz off-roader to be designed and would use a new magic ride system called “Terra Scan” that utilises a camera to detect the surrounding terrain, in order to provide optimal levels of traction.
