Meet Ignacio Cubilla Banos who is from Cuba. He is 111 years old and has 11 children, 40 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. He didn’t give away secrets for his long life other than smoking a cigar. He is indeed a very old man.

The name of the cigars being hand rolled in these photos is Cohiba which belongs to the Tiano Indians who were first encountered by Columbus on his way to America. The cigars were originally registered in Cuba in 1969. The name of the brand originally meant the Government of Cuba. Cuban cigar rollers are known as torcedores and are touted as being the most skilled cigar rollers in the world. Torcedores are highly respected in Cuban culture and society and travel worldwide displaying their art of hand rolling cigars.

The Guantánamo Bay Detention Camp is a detainment facility operated by Joint Task Force Guantánamo of the United States government since 2002 in Guantánamo Bay Naval Base, which is on the shore of Guantánamo Bay, Cuba. The detainment areas consists of three camps in the base: Camp Delta (which includes Camp Echo), Camp Iguana, and Camp X-Ray (which has been closed).
Since October 7, 2001, when the current war in Afghanistan began, 775 detainees have been brought to Guantánamo. Of these, approximately 420 have been released without charge. As of January 2009, approximately 245 detainees remain. On May 20, 2009, the United States Senate passed an amendment to block funds to release prisoners held at the Guantanamo Bay detention camp.
