Beauty Contests are always interesting to watch. If you missed the show Miss Russia 2010, you can look at these photos and meet Irina Antonenko from Yekaterinburg. This 18-year-old beauty is crowned Miss Russia 2010. Not bad?
This flying-sailing “monster” was built by Russians in the former USSR. At those times Russians seemed to know how to make water planes look like huge iron “pterosaurs”. I wonder how safe this tank-ship-bird must have been. See more pictures after the break.

 I have no idea if what you'll see in the pictures was done by the municipal service or by weather, but these cars were badly injured by snow and ice that suddenly started to fall down from the roofs. As for the video, this is one of the examples how municipal service in Russia clears snow from roofs…  Russian tuners really know how to create a car that helps to relax. Guess what this Cadillac STS is hiding inside?  Russian mafia that was well known in the former Soviet Union is back on photos. Well, apparently she is very popular in Russia where she has a fan club of her own. Members of this club go to great extremes to put her picture up all over town.  These photos represent the largely unrewarded work that is done each day at a weather station under some of the most difficult situations imaginable. The weather in Russia in the winter is certainly no picnic especially at 7,000 feet above sea level.  Here are some traveling beauties for you. I would love to get arrested by the beautiful police woman in these photos. I imagine getting frisked by her would be quite an adventure. It would surely be interesting to find out!!  These photos are of yet another Russian guy trying to be cool by capturing the Internet social scene through the use of his Photoshop skills. I don’t know if these photos in the Russian social networking sites make the guy any more popular with the ladies but I fully expect him to fail. They are certainly interesting, however.  On a closer look, the massive structure you see may seem like a giant iceberg. Actually, it is a destroyed Sayano-Shushenskaya power plant situated in Siberia. Last year the transformer explosion caused huge flooding and human casualties in this plant. The plant restoration may take more than four years. Without this plant, the area can just freeze out. Looking at the pictures, it seems that the city became extinct, but when it's -42 ° C it's not so easy to have a walk. If you breathe deeply, you will really feel the pain in the lungs, which will freeze as well as your nose. Imagine, if you open the window for 5 minutes, you won’t be able to close it because it will be covered with ice. You will be able start a car only if it is parked in a heated garage and even this doesn’t help every time... In many complex building they use coal. How do you like such living conditions? A huge respect to a photographer who suffered a lot from the cold while doing this report, because after 15 minutes on the street, the camera freezes from inside and it stops working. Now look at photos of the city and its industrial facilities.  In some Russian villages, they go to places called ‘banya’ which are in fact nothing more than saunas. As not everybody can go to those places, one man got the idea to make a mobile ‘banya’. He made a little wooden house that he equipped to make a sauna and that he mounted on an old tractor. Now the villagers just have to call for the mobile sauna house to come to their place. We can’t stop progress..  Yep, the robbers weren’t subtle at all with this poor machine… ;) They just cut it and took all the money. On the first picture, on the left of the ATM you can see empty cashboxes.  Such an amusing calendar was released by one Russian company. I have only one question: what did the author take or smoke? It’s difficult to draw something like this when you’re not high  We’ve presented you earlier this year some cool hand-made metallic objects crafted by some Russian guys. Well, they made a lot more since and it’s still awesome! Don’t miss it!  Photos from one intersection in Voronezh, Russia. Impressive!  There are such facilities in Russia, where all intoxicated people, found sleeping on the streets, are brought there. They can spend one night to become sober under medical control and all of it is free of charge. To be honest, quite a scary place, looks more like a prison. Take a look at the pictures.
