How does that saying go “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure”? That is certainly the case in these photographs taken in Melbourne, Australia and can be seen from the Geelong Train line. While some people see the artwork as graffiti others see it as art. Some folk want it removed and others want it to stay. This brings up another old saying; “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder”. Where do you come down on this debate?  Some people are very talented and they like to express themselves on the street for the pleasure or ‘unpleasure’ of other people. As far as I’m concerned, I really love graffiti when it’s that artistic. So here it is, a big selection of graffiti art pictures. I separated the selection in three parts for the page to load faster, so don’t miss the two other pages.   Today I want to show you the magnificent works of Italian master of street graffiti Blu. After all, what he does is difficult to call just graffiti, it is a whole art. Well, see it yourself ;)  Great works! I never get tired to look at these pictures. They are just awesome!  I admit, I have long been a fan of Banksy art. He is a very talented artist. If you remember, his works were exhibited in the Bristol's City Museum and Art Gallery. Here are some more of his amazing artworks.  Now the lolcats have some competition from Graffiti Kitti ;) Well, not so much of a competition but still. Look at these funny kittens.  I love things like that. Respect to the authors. They have a true talent   He’s a very talented guy. You should absolutely see his works. It’s not only some wall paintings, it’s art  Kelburn Castle is a large house in Scotland. It is the seat of the Earl of Glasgow. Originally built in the thirteenth century it was remodelled in the sixteenth century. In 2007, after experts told the owners that the concrete facing would eventually need to be replaced to avoid further damage to the stone walls, the Earl invited graffiti artists to paint the walls.  |
