The VVIP Dreamliner B787 Dreamjet, also known as “the flying penthouse” is a huge private aircraft that’s capable of carrying up to 40 passengers and accommodate them with an entertainment and study lounge, dedicated dining spaces, an en-suite master bedroom with a 42-inch TV, a dressing room and an enormous hotel-style bathroom complete with a shower, and lots-lots more. The aircraft can be chartered for around $26,000 per hour – that’s $650 per person if there is the maximum number of passengers.

Sam Huang had the idea to fly around the world in the fanciest jet available so he booked a first class ticket for $300 on an Emirates flight and started his around the world journey that would normally cost over $60,000 to achieve. And it was all thanks to a loophole he found in the Alaska frequent flier system and a bit of clever calculating on his part. Here are some photos of his trip.
