Thomas Dambo is a recycling artist who uses scrap wood to bring curious giant trolls to life all around the world. He shows how dumpster trash and recycled wood can breathe life into awesome sculptures, and helps us all think of trash as something we can use to inspire and create.

At 13,133 feet (4,000 meters) above the ground, located on the north-eastern ridge of the Matterhorn, the Solvay Hut is owned by the Swiss Alpine Club and is used for providing food and shelter to mountaineers, climbers and hikers. Named after Ernest Solvay, it was first built in 1915 and then rebuilt in 1976 and equipped with a telephone.

Saw this guy walking through the state park playing an accordian on his way to do some rock climbing.
Located in the Qinling mountain range near the city Huayin, China, the Huashan is one of the five sacred mountains of Taoism. This dangerous and complicated climbing path is lined by Taoist monasteries, temples and pagodas and goes as high up as 6988 feet (2130 metres).

The glass lift is built into the side of a mountainous cliff in the Wulingyuan area of Zhangjiajie, China. It is a staggering 1,070 feet (330 m) high and is claimed to be the highest and heaviest outdoor elevator in the world.
Alex Honnold is arguably the most extreme mountaineer in the world as he frequently scales high rock formations with only climbing shoes and a chalk bag. With no other safety precautions in place, he could easily plunge to his death with even the slightest mistake. Here are some photos of him doing what few other people would ever dare to try.

The Sphinx Observatory in Jungfraujoch, Switzerland could be the perfect place to establish a solitary mage tower. It is located on the mountain top 3571 m (11,716 ft.) high with an elevator drilled within a mountain. Its observation deck is open to public, so if you're in Switzerland one day, don't miss you chance to visit it.
This torrent in the mountains went icebound and turned into the astonishing shiny glass surface.
