The Dakar is an annual rally raid type of off-road automobile race. Most events since the inception in 1978 were from Paris, France to Dakar, Senegal, but due to security threats in Mauritania, the 2009 Dakar Rally was run in South America (Argentina and Chile), the first time the race took place outside of Europe and Africa. It returned to South America this year too. The race will finish in Buenos Aires. The participants will have to run for 9,000 kilometers. Very exciting and spectacular race!  The photos were taken at the right moment. Look at how it ended for this car inside the post…  Eugene Novikov entered into the history of the Rally of Finland with one of the best jumps on his car. Eugene has reached the speed of 146 km /h and flied about 66 meters. But it is the landing that was incredible. Unfortunately, later that day he had an accident and couldn’t continue the race.
