Nick Brandt is an English photographer who now lives in the United States.
His photographic techniques differ from those commonly used when it comes to shooting wild animals. He gets very close to them (a few feet away) and usually doesn’t use telephoto lenses. He says that “the photos become as much about the atmosphere of the place as the animals”.
