Quite an awesome ad with plenty of small details: consoles being switched to slim versions, improvement of equipment, change of aspect ratio, London skyline changing over time, the PS symbols making an appearance in each of the 4 generations...etc.
In case you're confused, note that the kid isn't living at home for 18 years, the two main protagonists represent the 'players' of that time for the specific PlayStation generation.
