American businessman and former military pilot Herb Gouldon, who had traveled a lot in the 50's and 60's, made very quality color pictures. Here are his photos of Japan. Guldon visited it several times in the 50's.

I see only colonized Japan and japanese serving pride americans. I am happy that japanese managed to overcome the amercian agressive culture.

These are obviously photos taken by a westerner while visiting or residing in Japan, hence the family images of non Japanese.

Japanese managed to "overcome" the "amercian aggressive culture" largely due to the efforts of...uh..Americans, notably W. Edwards Deming, whose studies revamped the Japanese manufacturing culture to the extent that the rest of the world has been busily emulating it since the '80s.

Btw, being "simi" young is no excuse for being unable to spell - or, apparently, read.
