In this time of year, people around the world celebrate. They celebrate the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem Palestine. They celebrate a birth that was meant to propagate a set of ideals to make the world a better place. 2010 years later, that same birthplace is plagued by a regime that practices the exact opposite of those ideals. Bethlehem is surrounded by a racist wall of biblical proportions, by regime which is racist to biblical proportions. Yet people celebrate.But that is OK. The people of Palestine also celebrate. They need to, as any other people would need to celebrate. After all it is the season to make exceptions. In this season, people make exceptions when it comes to their spending, to their diets, to the way they treat each other. So it is only logical to make an exception by putting an effort for the land, the homes and people of the birthplace of Christmas... for justice in Palestine...Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

This is no a secret that movie studios make remakes and sequels of the movies that became classics and already bring a lot of money. But they will continue to do this as long as it works. So check out a little collection of movies from the future.

These Husky dogs love to play and they are very smart. However, these particularly Huskies are in a world of trouble. Apparently, while their owner was away they did a considerable amount of damage to the house.

During the 1960's a Bell Lab employee by the name of Lawrence Luckham brought his camera to work with him. He took some very 60's photos. Not only are the hairstyles outdated, so is some of the equipment.

This unmanned Indian Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV) rocket explosion took place in India just minutes after takeoff. There seems to be a difference of opinion as to the cause. One Indian official thinks the first stage worked fine and another thinks it didn't. The rocket was carrying a GSAT-5P communications and weather satellite. The rocket was launched from the Sriharikota Space Center. It soared into the sky with a thick orange flame making a deep roar and then exploded and disintegrated.

These are photos of some rather bad winter storms in the United States. Although they can be beautiful, they certainly wreak a lot of havoc for the people who have to endure them. At least they’re not permanent.

These animals have remarkable human like behavior. They are doing things that everyday people do. Some of them even resemble people. I am sure their owners had something to do with it but they sure are interesting.

Last Thursday was the most shocking day for the Parliament of Romania. The session was overshadowed by TV engineer, the father of two children Adrian Sobaru who decided to jump from 7-meters-high balcony in protest over government budget cuts that had affected his family. He was wearing “you-killed-our-children’s-future” t-shirt, but luckily his injures weren’t life–threatening. When he was taken out on a stretcher to the emergency, Adrian continued shouting the word “feedom”.

When your garage is filled to the brim and you can hardly move in the space, you surely need to do something about your basement. This couple from San Francisco asked a design team from atelier KS to help them out. Now you can see an amazing remodeling of this basement when the 1,000 square feet were equally transformed into a garage and living space. Now the residents have a quest bedroom, a bathroom, family room, laundry room and even storage space.
