Joel Allan, a computer technician and carpenter from Canada secretly built this incredible tree house on a state land near the development of multi-million homes.
It took years to plan the house, create its computer model and to get the necessary materials, many of which Allan got for free from the local junkyard.
The HemLoft, as his owner calls it, was deliberately made in the shape of an egg in order not to contradict with the surroundings. The cozy secluded place is located in a reasonable distance from the road, but out of sight and earshot of people nearby. However, as long as the HemLoft is built on a state land, its future is presently unclear.
