Also in the movie Pearl Harbor, it's 1941 and in the military restaurant, or whatever they call it - nobody is smoking; another thing, there were no slant deck aircraft carriers then - (too many more to mention) but this is the funniest; the captain of the aircraft carrier is calling for full speed ahead and when the camera pulls back, the anchor chain has deployed so the anchor is still on the seabed.

Set in 1876, this movie shows the United States flag with 43 stars. The United States flag didn’t have 43 stars until 1891. Also, the Japanese soldiers use cap lock muskets which can only do one shot at a time before reloading. In the movie, they’re seen firing several rounds without reloading.
