salamoon,
Maybe, but kilometres is the word you're misspelling. Metres are distance, meters are measuring instruments.

You may have seen kilometre spelled as kilometer and wondered, “Which is the correct spelling?”

The answer to that depends on where you are!

The British spelling is kilometre.

The American spelling is kilometer.

Gwendolyn,

Maybe, but tyre is the word you are misspelling. Tyre is a rubber ring around a wheel. Tire is what you do after working hard.

Gussie, What do the two asterisks stand for, and why couldn't you write the actual letters ?

Will, Seat belts are good, but only when you have an accident. Obviously she wasn't having an accident. I've been driving 143 years, the last 92 of them I was legally required to wear a seat belt ... its been a waste of time and energy, I've never had an accident, I have a better chance of winning Lotto.
